Suspects sought in elevator attack

BRONX (WABC) -- Police are looking for four suspects in two violent attacks at the Butler Houses in the Morrisania section of the Bronx.

The first attack happened at 11:00 on the night of April 3. The group assaulted and robbed a 45-year-old man in front of the building at 1368 Webster Avenue.

The second attack happened at 2:35 in the morning on April 18 inside the building, and this one was captured by surveillance cameras.

Police said two men were assaulted as they entered the building. A 43-year-old victim was struck in the head with a bottle, pushed into an elevator and robbed. He needed stitches to his head. The other victim, a 46-year-old man, was pushed to the ground in the hallway and robbed.
