Suspect sought in Queens sex assault

QUEENS (WABC) -- NYPD is trying to catch a suspect wanted for a sexual assault.

Police said just before midnight on Friday, a 20-year-old woman was walking in the vicinity of 185th Street and the Long Island Expressway when the suspect approached from behind.

He forcibly removed her to an isolated location where she was sexually assaulted, investigators said.

The man was wearing a multi colored striped shirt with matching hat and dark colored jeans. He fled on foot after also taking personal property from the victim, police said.
