BEDFORD-STUYVESANT (WABC) -- Police are investigating a triple shooting in Brooklyn that left one person dead. Police believe the gunmen used assault rifles.
There are still no shooters arrested and no suspects named in the shooting.
Police have investigating the shooting all morning -- and they have learned some important information -- perhaps a high-powered automatic weapon was involved in the shooting.
Police received a call that gunshots were fired around 11:30 Monday night.
When police got to the lobby of the building on Fulton Street they found three young men had been shot.Ambulance raced to scene.
A 22-year-old was shot once in the thigh -- police rushed him to St. John's Hospital. He is in stable condition.
The 2nd victim, just 19-years old was shot once in the torso. He's in critical condition at Kings County Hospital.
The 3rd victim, a 21-year-old man was shot in the chest and the neck. He was also rushed to Kings County Hospital. Doctors there could not save him, he pronounced dead at the hospital.
The investigation into the shooting continues.
