Bandits in costume beat, rob cab driver

STATEN ISLAND (WABC) -- Police on Staten Island are searching for four men wanted for beating and robbing a cab driver on Halloween night.

The four white men were all wearing costumes.

Two were dressed like Nintendo's "Mario and Luigi" and riding in a yellow cab in New Dorp.

While inside the cab, one of the suspects apparently tried to take cash out of the 48 year old driver's pocket.

That's where police say they beat and robbed him.
