Brooklyn police arrest rape suspect, search for 2nd

Police arrested a rape suspect and identified another wanted in the rape of a 19-year-old woman in Brooklyn.

The attack happened last Wednesday at 2:00 in the morning near Linden Blvd. and Bedford Avenue.

The 19-year-old woman was walking when police say 20-year-old Rony Delmas grabbed her and forced her between 2 parked cars where he sexually assaulted her.

Delmas then allegedly walked her several blocks to a secluded area located on Parkside Avenue, where she was raped. The second suspect, identified by police as 20-year-old Stephon Edwards, showed up and then he also raped the victim according to investigators.

The victim was treated at area hospital and is now recovering at home.

Delmas is charged with rape, criminal sex act, and sexual abuse.

Edwards remains on the run and is described as a black male, 5'6" tall and 120 lbs.
