NEW YORK (WABC) -- A Hofstra University music professor has died, the victim of a hit and run accident on Second Avenue in Manhattan.
Robert Emmett Bowen III was hit by a truck back on August 26.
He lingered for days before dying of his injuries.
Bowen was the father of two young children.
Police say they have not made an arrest for the hit and run.
