ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- Atlantic County authorities say a Middlesex County man met a 13-year-old runaway at an Atlantic City casino this summer and had sex with her.
Jacky Wang of East Brunswick was charged with sexual assault, child endangerment and criminal sexual contact when he was arrested Thursday. If convicted on all charges, the 24-year-old faces nearly 17 years in prison.
County Prosecutor Ted Housel said an investigation found the Woodbridge Township teen had run away from home and made her way to the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort on July 20.
Once there, she met up with Wang and they had a sexual encounter.
It was not known Saturday if Wang had retained a lawyer, and a telephone number for him could not be located. His bail was set at $100,000.
