January 25, 2013 (CHICAGO) -- The Chicago Defender honored 50 Men of Excellence on Friday night.
They come from a variety of fields including business, education and civil service.
The men were recognized for their integrity, strength and courage.
All were nominated by Chicago Defender readers.
