GARDEN CITY, NY (WABC) -- Susan Williams was found guilty of hiring a hit man to kill her husband, and it was all caught on camera.
"What do you want done? I want him more than hurt, I don't want to say it," the videotape played.
Prosecutors say the videotape of Susan Williams conspiring with a hit man, who is really an undercover cop, was the smoking gun.
They say the chilling exchange was all the evidence jurors needed to convict the 43-year-old mother of four.
"I don't want to, I won't, as simple as possible, if I could do it myself I would," Williams is heard saying on the tape.
Williams, who was on trial for conspiracy, was arrested back in March of 2010 for trying to put out a hit on her husband, Peter, in Garden City.
Prosecutors say Williams wanted him dead to avoid a bitter divorce and cash in a million dollar life insurance policy.
"I don't want this to be a made for TV movie. I want it as simple as possible. If I could do it myself I would," Williams said on the tape.
Williams, who had no idea she was dealing with a cop, explains why she'll have no remorse.
"It's a nightmare. He's scum. Cops come to my door, that's what I'll think about," Williams said.
During the meeting she handed over some cash.
Prosecutors noted that she had multiple opportunities to walk away, and she didn't.
Williams faces up to 25 years in prison at her sentencing.
Meantime, Susan Williams' oldest daughter's boyfriend was arrested Monday and charged with jury tampering.
Frank Trapani, the boyfriend of daughter Alexis, had improper contact with juror #4, a male juror.
The juror was dismissed on Friday and replaced with an alternate.
It had no impact on the trial or the deliberations.
There were four alternate jurors serving.
