Man murdered inside Freeport collision shop

An anonymous call led police on Long Island to a murder scene, and now they are searching for the killer.

The body of 42-year-old Christopher Magnone was found inside Aimes Collision on Bennington Avenue in Freeport.

Magnone was the owner of the shop.

Investigators say officers responding to an anonymous 911 call found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He'd been shot several times in the chest.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The gunman remains on the loose.
