PORT JEFFERSON STATION (WABC) -- Cold, windy weather made it hard for crews fighting a fire on Long Island Thursday morning.
The fire started about 2 a.m. inside a multi-family house in Port Jefferson Station.
High winds quickly spread the flames through the house, which was divided into three residences.
Everyone inside made it out safely.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
