Bar, hair salon heavily damaged in Long Island fire

An early-morning fire burned down businesses on Long Island Wednesday.

Flames burned through the roof of a bar and hair salon on East Main Street in Smithtown at about 2:30 a.m.

Both the bar, known as Molly Blooms, and Jackee's Hair Salon were heavily damaged.

Neighboring businesses also suffered smoke and water damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
