Stolen Cub Scout trailer located

ISLIP, N.Y. (WABC) -- There is hopeful news for a Long Island Cub Scout troop left brokenhearted when its trailer was stolen.

The Cubmaster of Pack 370 in says police notified him, the trailer has been found in Islip not far from where it was taken.

He'll find out Thursday what, if anything, remains inside.

Someone stole the trailer last month from a parking lot.

It was filled with equipment for camping, community projects, and four decades worth of awards.
