Eyewitness NewsGLEN COVE (WABC) -- A Long Island woman is facing robbery charges for allegedly trying to steal an elderly woman's purse.
Police say 48-year-old Irene Halloran, of Glen Cove, pushed a 79-year-old woman to the ground and tried to grab her handbag.
The older woman never let go of her bag.
