Cops: Man hired to fix jewelry's store's alarm steals jewels

A man hired to fix a Long Island jewelry store's burglar alarm is now accused of stealing from it.

Nassau County police say Fernando Robles pocketed two envelopes full of jewels, valued at more than $20,000, from the store in Oceanside.

Robles is from Orlando, Florida.

He is charged with third-degree larceny.
