MASSAPEQUA (WABC) -- Police arrested a Long Island school custodian after investigators say he threatened administrators and then attacked them.
Authorities say 51-year-old angelo Tenace, of Shirley, threatened two Massapequa school district leaders over a two-way radio on Friday.
Then, when the district leaders confronted him at the Hawthorne School in Massapequa Park, he allegedly threatened to burn them with a cigarette. Police say he then punched one in the head and knocked the other to the ground.
Police say Tenace had two switchblade knives at the time.
He was charged with assault and menacing over the weekend.
