Hundreds of customers were without power due to an outage in Rockville Centre on Long Island Tuesday afternoon
NEW YORK (WABC) -- Hundreds of customers were without power due to an outage in Rockville Centre on Long Island Tuesday afternoon.
Traffic lights were out on Sunrise Highway earlier, and police officers were directing traffic.
A feeder line from transformer that feeds the distribution network burned out and caused the outage.
Generators were supplying the electricity, and everything was fully restored by 5 p.m.
