East Moriches man arrested for child porn

EAST MORICHES (WABC) -- An unemployed man on Long Island is under arrest Thursday, charged with possession of child pornography.

Suffolk County police say 32-year-old Damien O'Brien, of East Moriches, turned himself in Wednesday night.

Last week, police armed with a search warrant seized computers, CDs and DVDs they say contained large amounts of child pornography.

An officer with the computer crimes unit says they became aware of the suspect by monitoring internet activity.
