HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (WABC) -- A manhunt for a murder suspect in the nation's capitol ended abruptly Monday night on Long Island.
Police say Javon Foster shot and killed himself inside a car in Hempstead late Monday afternoon.
He was suspected of shooting his 20-year-old girlfriend in the face Sunday on a city bus in Washington, DC.
She was carrying their 1-year-old child who was hurt in the shooting.
