DIX HILLS (WABC) -- Long Island police have released surveillance photos of a woman who they say stole a puppy from a pet store.
The theft happened at the Yipity Yap store on Jericho Turnpike in Dix Hills Sunday afternoon.
It involved a black purebred pug, valued at $1,800, similar to the one in the picture.
Suffolk County police are asking anyone who recognizes the woman to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
