$80,000 show car swiped from garage in Suffolk County

Police on Long Island are investigating a big ticket car theft in Suffolk County.

Authorities say someone swiped the silver Nissan Skyline GTR out of a garage on Esplanade Drive in East Patchogue between 9:30 p.m. on June 17 and 1:30 a.m. on June 18.

It is a show car with the steering wheel is on the right side, and it's worth an estimated $80,000.

Police are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS.

All calls will be kept confidential.
