MASTIC (WABC) -- Several people are recovering Monday after they were hurt in a deck collapsed on Long Island.
The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. Sunday at a home on Abbot Avenue in Mastic.
Nine people were on the second-floor deck when it collapsed beneath them.
Five of them went to the hospital.
None of the injuries were considered life-threatening.
