Teen arrested in string of Long Island robberies

OCEANSIDE (WABC) -- A teenager on Long Island is due in court Tuesday, accused of multiple robberies.

Police say 16-year-old Frank Camporeale, Jr., of Long Beach, was involved in three robberies in Nassau County.

All three victims were out on the street in the town of Oceanside at the times they were robbed.

The three incidents occurred on:

  • Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 8:45 p.m. on Greentree Drive.
  • Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 9:30 p.m. at Oceanside Road and Carlton Court
  • Wednesday, July, 3, 2013 at 8:05 p.m. at Oceanside and Bennet Street

    Camporeale Jr. is charged with three counts of first-degree robbery and three counts of second-degree robbery.

    He will be arraigned on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at First District Court in Hempstead.
