Police looking for ex-boyfriend after woman found dead in Shirley

SHIRLEY (WABC) -- Police are searching for a killer after a woman was found dead in her home on Long Island.

Authorities say 33-year-old Elizabeth Hernandez was found dead Wednesday afternoon in her home on Auborn Avenue in Shirley.

Now, police say they are looking for Hernandez' estranged boyfriend, 37-year-old Cleon Brown. The victim reportedly had an order of protection against him, and published reports say there was a history of domestic calls from her house.

Relatives said Hernandez had two young children.

The Medical Examiner is working to determine a cause of death.

The investigation is continuing.
