Man shot in Hempstead outside pizzeria

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (WABC) -- A man was shot outside a pizzeria in Hempstead Monday.

It happened around 5:15 p.m. on Henry Street at Jerusalem Avenue.

The man was rushed to the hospital in an unknown condition.

Police continue to search for the gunman.
