ELMONT, N.Y. (WABC) -- Investigators on Long Island accuse a New York City police officer of driving drunk.
State police say the Elmont man drove the wrong way on the Southern State Parkway.
They say he was travelling east in the westbound lanes when he hit five cars near the Hempstead Avenue exit about 1:45 a.m.
No one was seriously injured.
Police charged 48-year-old Ronald Holmes with driving while intoxicated.
