Paterson, NJ (WABC) -- A thief found out the hard way that you never know who's around the corner to stop a crime.
After allegedly robbing a woman, the robbery suspect was tackled by a bystander who turned out to be an ultimate fighter.
Jon "Bones" Jones tweeted a photo of the take-down.
Jones says he was at a park in Paterson, NJ getting ready for a fight on Saturday night, when a woman screamed she'd been robbed.
Jones and his coaches went after the suspect, putting him in a leg lock until police arrived.
Jones tweeted that it felt good to help others and that the incident gave him power and energy.
