1 dead, 17 displaced in Orange, New Jersey, fire

One woman was killed in a four-alarm fire in New Jersey Friday morning.

The fire broke out in the multi-family house on Park Street in Orange just after 2 a.m.

One woman, who lived on the first floor, was pulled from the house and pronounced dead.

Seventeen others who live in the house were able to escape without injuries.

Firefighters battled the blaze for several hours.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The house was home to four families.
