WEEHAWKEN, N.J. (WABC) -- A resident fought back during a home invasion in New Jersey and ended up getting shot.
It happened around 5 p.m. Thursday on Gregory Avenue.
Police say it started when two suspects barged into a home in Weehawken.
They got into a struggle with the people inside, one of whom got shot.
He was driven to the hospital and is in stable condition.
Authorities are still looking for the suspects.
Police say they knew the victim, so the home was not randomly targeted.
