Eyewitness NewsJERSEY CITY (WABC) -- One person was killed when a car smashed into the rear of a tractor-trailer on Route 1&9 in New Jersey early Tuesday.
The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes near Secaucus Road in Jersey City.
The car wedged itself under the back of the truck, killing the driver.
All lanes were shut down for the accident investigation and while the vehicles were cleared from the scene.
