Look inside where Dharun Ravi will serve time

HACKENSACK, New Jersey (WABC) -- Dhuran Ravi is scheduled to report to jail a week from today.

He was sentenced to 30 days for spying on his Rutgers roommate Tyler Clementi during a sexual encounter.

There are more than half-a-dozen locked doors between freedom and the inside of the Middlesex County Jail.

Where even a twenty-day sentence could seem like twenty months.

Ravi is expected to serve his time in a medium-security wing of the jail.. Where inmates live, dorm style sleeping on metal bunk beds with two-and-a-half inch-thick mattresses, stunning razor-wire vistas and no access to computers.
