Eyewitness NewsNEWARK (WABC) -- A woman in New Jersey is facing animal cruelty charges after she is accused of tossing a dog into traffic.
Police say 25-year-old Haniyyah Barnes was fighting with the dog's owner over a parking spot in Newark.
She allegedly kicked in the owner's door, grabbed the two year old shih tzu and threw it in front of a car.
The dog was killed.
Barnes is also charged with burglary.
