Eyewitness NewsJERSEY CITY (WABC) -- A search is under way for an arsonist who torched a New Jersey playground.
The fire broke out Wednesday morning at a park on Kennedy Boulevard in Jersey City.
The playground suffered heavy damage.
Investigators believe the fire was deliberately set. They say an accelerant was used to fuel the flames.
Firefighters had the fire under control after an hour.
