Person of interest photos released in cab shooting

JERSEY CITY (WABC) -- Jersey City police have released photos of a man they want to speak with in connection to the shooting Monday of a taxi driver, who remains in critical condition with a bullet wound to the back of his head.

Authorities say the shooting happened in a residential area in Jersey City, across from a warehouse, around 1 a.m.

The driver was shot one time, and police were searching for the gunman, who fled the scene.

It is unknown if the suspect took anything from the driver, who was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition.

The driver's identity has not been released.
