LINDEN (WABC) -- A body was found in a pickup truck in the parking lot of a Sam's Club in Linden on Monday night.
Police say a shopper walked by the truck and noticed a foul odor. She contacted security at the store who found the body and called police.
The body was in the front passenger seat of the truck. After an autopsy, it was concluded that the person died of a self inflicted gunshot wound.
The truck has customized Tennessee license plates with the word "PROTECT" on it.
