SECAUCUS, New Jersey (WABC) -- On Monday afternoon, Secaucus police evacuated the Walmart store in Secaucus because of a bomb threat.
Just after 4:30, the Walmart has since reopened according to the Secaucus Police Department.
Secaucus police and fire and the Hudson County bomb squad were all at the scene.
The store was searched by canine units to see if there is anything inside.
This comes after police in Kansas and Missouri are investigating a rash of bomb threats at Walmart stores over the weekend.
A law enforcement source says the threat was made at 1:45pm by a phone call to 911. It was NOT an automated call like the Midwest threats.
Two Walmart stores in Kansas were evacuated yesteray.
Police escorted customers and employees out of stores in Leavenworth and Lawrence while they searched for explosives.
Investigators say at least eight Walmart stores in Missouri received threats on Friday.
No bombs were found at any of the stores.
