JERSEY CITY (WABC) -- Two Jersey City residents have been forced out of their home because it's infested with fleas.
Police had to force one of the residents into a decontamination unit set up outside the house after he refused to comply.
EMTs discovered the infestation when they responded to a call about an elderly woman who had fallen.
She was treated and cleaned up.
Authorities also removed two dogs covered with fleas.
The city health officials plan to board up the house.
