WOODBRIDGE, N.J. -- Authorities say no injuries were reported when an under construction parking lot collapsed at a central New Jersey shopping center.
It was not immediately clear what caused the collapse, which occurred late Tuesday afternoon at the Woodbridge Crossing shopping center. Authorities say the second level of the garage, being built as part of a new Burlington Coat Factory store, fell onto the lower level.
No one was in the garage area at the time, and only a van and a forklift were parked inside the structure at the time of the collapse.
The collapse remains under investigation.
