Junior High student reports abduction attempt in NJ town

Police say a 13-year-old student was approached in an attempted luring incident in Westwood, New Jersey.

The alleged incident took place Thursday morning near Westwood Junior High School on Lafayette Avenue between Mill Street and Glen Court in the Borough of Westwood.

The alleged victim says a 4 door grey hatch back pulled up to her while on her way to school and asked if she wanted a ride.

She declined, and upon arriving to school, reported it to authorities.

Police describe the suspect as a white, middle aged man with a crew cut and balding on top.
