RIDGEWOOD (WABC) -- A New Jersey doctor accused of stockpiling weapons and dangerous chemicals will appear in court for the first time Tuesday.
An anonymous tip led police to Dr. Roberto Rivera's home in Ridgewood, where they found assault weapons and chemicals used to make explosives.
He is facing a number of charges, including unlawful possession of a destructive device.
Rivera, 60, had his bail set at $1 million cash.
Prosecutors say Rivera is unemployed but has a license to practice medicine in New York.
