Man arrested in sex assault of toddler

PATERSON, N.J. (WABC) -- A man from New Jersey is under arrest for a sickening crime.

He's accused in the sexual assault of a 22-month-old child.

42-year-old Jose Ramos is charged with aggravated sex assault and other crimes.

Paterson police say he sexually assaulted his fiancé's 22-month-old daughter last week while he was babysitting the child.

Investigators say they seized evidence from Ramos' home.
