NORTHVALE, N.J. (WABC) -- Police in New Jersey are investigating how a driver lost control of her car and smashed into an Applebee's restaurant.
The woman crashed into the Applebee's on Livingston Street in Northvale around 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
Bystanders took cell phone pictures of the scene.
No one inside the restaurant was hurt.
Witnesses say the driver didn't appear to be speeding before the accident.
The driver was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
No charges have been filed.
