ASBURY PARK (WABC) -- An effort to get guns off the streets in one New Jersey county gets under way Friday.
Monmouth County residents will be able to surrender their weapons in exchange for cash.
The gun buybacks are being held through Saturday at Shiloh Community Fellowship Church in Asbury Park and at the Rumson Police Department.
Anyone living in Monmouth County can drop off a weapon, no questions asked.
The prices range from $25 for shotguns and rifles to $100 for handguns and $200 for an assault weapon.
The Shiloh Community Fellowship Church is located at 142 Dewitt Avenue, while the Rumson Police Department is at 80 East River Road.
