BEDMINSTER TOWNSHIP, New Jersey (WABC) -- A husband and wife escaped serious injuries when their small plane flipped over while landing at Somerset Airport in Bedminster Township, New Jersey.
The accident happened just before 1:00 p.m.
Officials say Vijay Singh, 56, and his wife Meera Singh, 53, of Bedminster were coming in for a landing on a grass runway.
The plane had some sort of brake problem, causing the plane to flip, officials said.
The Singhs were checked out at the scene, and then taken to Somerset Medical Center as a precaution.
Authorities said they were not seriously injured.
