New Jersey woman celebrates 100th birthday with 37-year-old pet parrot

PENNSAUKEN (WABC) -- A New Jersey woman is celebrating a milestone birthday, and it is really something to "squawk" about.

Adele Schlossberg of Pennsauken just turned 100 years old.

Schlossberg's family and friends gathered to celebrate, along with her 37-year-old pet parrot, "Angel".

Angel is Schlossberg's closest companion and is usually found sitting on her shoulder.

Because of their special bond, this birthday party was all about birds.
