Woman robbed, attacked with brick

CHELSEA (WABC) -- Police in Manhattan are searching for a brazen robbery suspect whose weapon of choice is a brick.

Investigators released a sketch of the man they say approached a woman from behind, hit her head in the head with a brick, and then stole her money.

It happened last week as the woman walked along 18th Street in Chelsea.

The woman suffered head injuries and is listed in stable condition.
