QUEENS (WABC) -- Zagat's annual survey of airport quality once again ranks LaGuardia dead last.
On a scale of 0 to 30, LaGuardia scored just 6.18 points, down from 6.75 last year.
It's not just that LaGuardia ranked dead last in the annual Zagat survey of 30 domestic airports. It's that LaGuardia ranked last for the fourth year in a row.
According to the survey, it's getting worse each year.
"Look at this place. The world goes through this airport and Kennedy and look at it. It's a shame," passenger Miles Gordon said.
So how can the port authority improve the overall quality at LaGuardia?
Tim Zagat told us some minor improvements would make a major difference. How about some soothing New York music playing through those long hallways? Instead of pictures or graphics on the walls, why not some creative slides of videos of the big apple?
You know those luggage carts that right now cost 5-dollars? Do what many other airports do - make them free.
"Just kind of being nice, making sure that the taxi lines are done well so you don't have people sort of sitting there forever," Zagat said.
The port authority of course knows LaGuardia is old and cramped, but a spokesperson told us, "The Port Authority is always looking for ways to improve the experience of our customers at our facilities and we will take a look at the suggestions in the survey."
That's great news to some passengers.
"Having a child, it's not very convenient trying to get her something, even comfortable. Horrible. Here and JFK. Both of those are the worst I've experienced when it comes to modern amenities," George Gintoli said.
"We just experienced the food court inconvenience. We couldn't find anything healthy on the menu. So, we're waiting," Sandra Mitchell said.
For those of you hoping for a better experience at New York's other area airports, it may be better but not by much. JFK ranked 26th out of 30. Newark came in at 24.
Portland International Airport in Oregon ranked the best in the country, scoring 22.47 points.
