NEW YORK (WABC) -- The New York City Fire Department is being forced to replace protective gloves that it just bought last fall.
Over the last couple of months, six firefighters have suffered second-degree burns on the backs of their hands while wearing the "Blaze Fighter" gloves.
The FDNY says the manufacturer changed the materials in the gloves since the department first tried them out.
