Drug raid leads to massive gun bust in the Bronx

BRONX (WABC) -- Police carrying out a drug raid in the Bronx say they wound up discovering a massive stockpile of weapons.

Among the stash were a dozen guns, including five assault rifles, and 2,000 rounds of ammunition, high-capacity magazines and M-80 explosives.

Inside the apartment in Bainbridge, police say they also found some cocaine and marijuana.

They arrested a 29-year-old man who lives there and reportedly belongs to an Albanian street gang. His brother was also taken into custody.
