Ultimate day care center for dog

Monday, June 13, 2011

There's a new dog day care center open in Lower Manhattan that caters to a pooch's every desire.

Doggie day care centers have been popular in New York City for about 10 years.

When you go to work, you drop off your pet and he or she gets to play with other dogs until it's pick up time.

A new center takes doggie day care to the next level with 13,000 square feet of room.

Fetch Club opened in October in the South Street Seaport area. Fifty dogs usually spend the day here.

There are quiet areas, a sleepover room, even a massage room.

For a dog in need of a little extra exercise, there's a treadmill.

There's even a retail section, and yes a night club complete with a d-j and disco lights.

Customers are welcome to drop of their dogs for evening sessions from 7:00 until midnight.

The nightclub is also available for private parties. You can get your dog groomed here, and even commission a photo session.

A one day visit costs 45 dollars, but it's less expensive if you buy a membership and package.
